18 Inch Red Deer Hide Drum | Lost Seafarer "Not Coming Home"

18 inch dyed red deer hide drum, with alder wood and buckskin beater.  Pop Culture and media over the years have directed our eye and thought of 'Viking' to battle and blood alone. I wanted to do an honest piece and pay homage to those many, many, more who lost their life at sea in travel rather than on a field of war. Families denied a body to bury or burn, I'm calling this piece "Not Coming Home".
