All natural handmade bear and olive oil 50/50 blend for rawhide drums.
Drum skins are much like our own in that they require oil to prevent drying out. This oil will keep your drum sounding and looking its best. These two oils were chosen due to their history and effectiveness.
If your drum is painted it is best to use on the back surface to maintain the integrity of the paint. A little goes a long way - this size should last for many applications. Since bear oil becomes thicker at a higher temperature than olive oil you may need to warm the container in your pocket or hand for a few minutes in temperatures below around 60°F.
The container is recyclable.
