Crossing Over is a drum story sharing and featuring the spirit of exploration. The Shamanic journey of travelling to, and exploring alternate worlds plays out in the story panels.  The beater is made of deer bone and hide.  A deer jaw hangs from the drum frame.  The jaw is painted with Younger Futhark runes, spelling out "hlaupa" in Old Norse, meaning to move briskly.
