Set of 24 Elder Futhark runes, handmade in my workshop from a holly branch taken from my land.
I make regular offerings to the Landvættir, and take only what feels correct.

The runes are burned into the wood, not painted, so they will never fade.

Holly is associated with Thor, as the shape of its leaves act as mini lightning conductors, protecting the tree and its surroundings from lightning strikes. Really, look it up!
Many people believe based on ancient historical writings by Tacitus that runes should be made from fruit-bearing trees. Holly produces stone fruit "berries".

These runes are approximately 1" diameter, 1/4" thick, with their natural bark still attached.
