Beautiful rich deep sound, 30" frame drum made with goat hide.  The Prehistoric style Scandinavian artwork is hand painted in blue and white, depicting scenes of Oðinns visit to the Seeress in Hel, mourning the death of Baldr, Óðinns self-sacrifice on the Great World Tree, Yggdrasil and his battle at Ragnarök with the wolf Fenrir. Oðinn sits at the center of his dreams atop Sleipnir, and the 24 Elder Futhark Runes encircle the piece - also featuring a Fimbulvintr theme throughout the 9 worlds and the paths/bridges to each.   You will feel the power of this drum reverberating off your body as you play it.  Included rabbit fur and leather beater.  I've included a photo of me holding another drum of the same size to show the relative size to your body - I'm 6' or 182 cm tall.
