Rare grade axis deer hides, expertly tanned, for use in crafting or left as is for decor and warmth. Most axis deer hides acquire some damage during the skinning process but these have as few marks as is generally possible, with one having to really investigate to find a flaw. There are NO bullet or arrow holes in these hides. These hides come from axis deer in Texas, where they are invasive and cause native whitetail deer to compete for limited resources. After the meat is harvested we obtain the hides. The incredibly soft hair is wonderful for creating home goods or for use as is as a throw or otherwise.
